Mugana Hospital is District level hospital according to hospital ranks in Tanzania.  It serves Missenyi District in Kagera Region, but because of quality of services and popularity it is now giving services to almost the whole Kagera Region and some places of Shinyanga, Geita and Kigoma.

We provide medical care services ranging from Reproductive and Child Health services to Surgery services.

We started in 1956 as a dispensary serving the area of Kiziba.  Since then we have been growing from a dispensary to health center and a district Hospital in 2010.

We have achieved a lot, but our pleasure is to see people we serve healthy and happier.  Mugana Hospital is Dedicated to Mother Bakhita (Saint Josephine Bakhita of Canossa). Our motto is love, service and hope (Love them, Serve them and build Hope within Them).
